The controversial ruling in April 2021 that allowed care teams to engage the services for their clients was then overturned at appeal in October 2021. This has sparked a huge debate within our profession and one that many feel is discriminatory and in breach of human rights.
Overview: This certified course is suitable for Case Managers, Rehab Professionals, Specialist Care Providers and for others who work in similar roles within the ABI / Spinal Injury Sector to gain essential level 3 training in this important area of work. There would be an expectation from regulators / commissioners that staff who work at this level have attended a full day level 3 training at least once every 3 years.
Overview: This is a 2 day workshop which aims to develop Level 4 knowledge, skills and competencies for safeguarding children and adults at risk so that participants can undertake the roles and responsibilities for taking a lead safeguarding role within their organisation.
