Event Overview:
The Family Place: Strengthening Relationships After Trauma
An interactive session for case managers exploring therapeutic approaches to family work.
This session will begin with a short presentation followed by an engaging group discussion. We’ll introduce The Family Place service and the therapeutic model we use to strengthen family relationships, particularly in the aftermath of sudden trauma.
We believe this model has strong relevance for case managers working with families navigating complex needs. The discussion will provide a space to explore how these approaches can support your work, especially in the context of disrupted parent-child dynamics and wider family relationships.
This will be an interactive session, not a passive webinar — so we warmly encourage you to keep your cameras on and participate. Your insights and experiences will be invaluable in shaping a shared conversation around how we can deliver more responsive, relational support in practice.
Presentation Aims:
To introduce a new therapeutic model for supporting families
To engage in open discussion to co-develop impactful, inclusive services
What You’ll Learn:
What The Family Place does and how we work
An overview of our clinical model
How trauma can disrupt attachment and family dynamics
Practical, therapeutic approaches to family work that support well-being and rehabilitation outcomes
Why Attend?
You'll hear from experienced Clinical Psychologists who work directly with families struggling in their relationships.
