Getting Ready for IRCM registration: What case managers need to know

One of the strengths of case management is the diversity of backgrounds that contribute to this community of professionals. Although there is such a variety of backgrounds, case managers have some commonly shared skills, competencies, experiences, and knowledge.

With the anticipation of a registration process for case managers, the workshop will provide a stepping stone to reflect on how you can bring your unique background to the way in which you articulate and evidence your work.

We recommend that attendees pre-read the Code of Ethics and FAQ

Who is this workshop for?

All Case managers irrespective of professional qualifications and/or vocational background.

Why this workshop?

With the anticipation of a registration process for Case Managers through the IRCM (Institute of Registered Case Managers) this workshop will provide unique planning and reflective opportunities. How each case manager can evidence their clinical background, clearly articulate and demonstrate competencies and experiences, to evidence against the upcoming IRCM standards.

What will I learn?

The workshop will provide tools for individuals to demonstrate their own professional experiences as evidence towards Case Management competency standards. Led by Professor Meyer, a leading expert in teamwork and leadership, who contributed to the formation of the original collaboration between CMSUK, BABICM AND VRA to produce the original Case Management Standards.

How will I benefit from this workshop?

You will feel confident that you have tools in readiness for the forthcoming case management registration process.
