CMSUK Webinar: The Practical Application of Safeguarding Legislation for Case Managers

We are pleased to announce that booking for our lunch-and-learn webinar 'The Practical Application of Safeguarding Legislation for Case Managers' is now open. This is the first in our 2019 series of webinars which are being offered free of charge to Members (and Pending Members) as part of CMSUK's quest to offer greater access to training and support for members.

This presentation is designed to support case managers to consider how to work within the safeguarding frameworks and how to support their clients better by considering what is, or isn’t a safeguarding concerns and how to proceed with a safeguarding referral. We will also look at practical application and how case managers actions may affect the client and the client case manager relationship.  

Aim of the presentation:

  • to provide case managers with a better understanding as to how to work with safeguarding legislation and their obligations in relation to safeguarding legislation.

Presented by:

Clark Gilkes, Case Manager, Bush & Company Rehabilitation

Clark is a registered mental health nurse with 26 years experience of working in brain injury rehabilitation in a variety of settings. Clark has 10 years experience as a clinical case manager and has considerable experience of working with clients.
