CMSUK Webinar: Research Grant & Practice Development Grant

We are pleased to announce that booking for our next lunch-and-learn webinar is now open. This is the fourth in our 2017 series of webinars which are being offered free of charge to Members (and Pending Members) as part of CMSUK's quest to offer greater access to training and support for members.

CMSUK Research Grant & Practice Development Grant will be delivered by Joel Booth, CMSUK Director & Head of Clinical Services for Slater Gordon Solutions - Health.  This online Webinar will take place online on Friday 9th June 2017 at 12:00 noon. 

The vision for the CMSUK is to be the professional body for Case Management within the UK and to be recognised internationally. Developing the empirical support for Case Management and promoting evidence based practices are central to achieving these aims. The aim of these two grants are to:

  • Encourage research within Case Management
  • Remove barriers, and, support our membership to participate in research
  • Facilitate the dissemination of research, enhancing the evidence base and case management practice

By the end of the webinar attendees will be informed about the two grants, their purpose, how to apply and how they can benefit from them. 

Aims of this session include:

  1. To discuss and promote two grants being offered to CMSUK members (1) Research Grant & (2) Practice Development Grant
  2. To provide information on these grants and how to apply

Joel Booth Biography:

Joel Booth is a CMSUK Board Director and Chair of the newly formed Research Committee. Joel works as the Head of Clinical Services for the Health division of Slater & Gordon Solutions comprising Overland Health and Mobile Doctors. He is a qualified Physiotherapist who has worked in Case Management and specialises in Occupational Rehabilitation. Joel has a keen interest in research and supported by the research committee (https://www.cmsuk.org/cmsuk-research-committee) are focused on supporting our members to actively undertake research, actively promote good practices and be able to use research to inform evidence-based practice.
