Life-changing injury can happen to anyone, and when it does, it often challenges a person’s sense of identity and disrupts every aspect of life - from work and hobbies to social connections and future aspirations. But while such injuries can be devastating, they do not mark the end of the road. In many cases, they mark the beginning of a new journey.
Living a purposeful and fulfilled life is key to long-term health and happiness. That’s where Stride Forward mentors come in. Compassionate volunteers - often with shared experiences and interests - offer support in a way that’s relatable, empowering, and deeply human. They help individuals rediscover their passions, rebuild confidence, and begin shaping a new future with meaning and direction.
A Stride Forward mentor isn’t just a source of support - they’re a guiding light toward what’s possible.

Individuals often lose a sense of self, identity, and become socially isolated. Holly founded the charity Stride Forward providing transformative mentorship programmes that positively impact the lives of individuals dealing with life-changing injuries.
