EDITORIAL
This year's conference was undoubtedly our biggest and best to date. The events commitee did sterling work and the conference was a resounding success.
The Newsletter after the conference is typically a "conference special" this year being no different. This edition will provide a summary of the event itself, event feedback, information on the Case Manager of the Year Award, and details of our sponsors, without whom we would not be able to offer such great value to our members.
A lot went on in the two days over the conference including the CMSUK AGM on the Thursday evening, all of which should all be covered in the features below.
Feedback to date at the conference and since has been overwhelming positive. The two conference streams for "catastrophic"and "non catastrophic" seems to have been a masterstroke and worked really well.
We had another fantastic dinner dance, which was obviously enjoyed by all, even those that were accosted by this year's "surprise" entertainment. As with previous years there was professional photographer stalking both delegates, exhibitors and speakers throughout the conference and the dinner dance, to get the pictures some of us crave and fear.
The 2014 conference will be at the same location the Gatwick Hilton and provisional dates have been put forward for Thursday 13th and Friday 14th of November where we hope to see you all there again (Dates may be subject to change). Big plans were announced for the 2015 Conference by the events committee at the AGM - so watch this space.
