Welcome to Spring edition of the CMSUK Newsletter. Well its says Spring on the calendar even if it doesn't quite feel it outside.
Unlike the weather there is change at CMSUK. Unfortunately Spencer McCabe is standing down from chair of the Communications committee to emigrate and take up a new role in Australia. Spencer has been an incredible assest to both CMSUK and the wider rehabilitation market over the years so while we are sad to see him go we wish him all the best for the future overseas. Joel Booth and Adam Shelverton will be collectively taking over the chair position for the commincations committee and they will issuse an update in the next Newsletter.
CMSUK also held their first ever Networking Evening for members on the 17th April in Manchester. The event saw a good turnout and was well received by all attendees. There will be another Networking Evening in the South of the country in the not too distant future so keep an eye out for the announcement.
2013 CMSUK Conference: The 2013 CMSUK conference is less than 6 months away!! With the success of last years conference please keep an eye out for the Early Bird Offers.
If you weren't already aware CMSUK now has a linkin in page. Please join up and keep up to date up to date with breaking news and discussions.
Although the CMSUK board work tirelessly for the society and it's members we acknowledge there is always more we could do. Priorities and resources often limit what we can acheive. If anyone is interested in becoming more involved in CMSUK either on a permanent or temporary basis and helping out with one of the committee we would love to hear from you.
