The UK Rehabilitation Council will be commencing the 2011 election process on Wednesday 3 August for new trustees to join the UKRC Council Board.  The Notice of Election, which can be found on the link http://www.rehabcouncil.org.uk/UKRC/pages/NewsDetail.aspx?ID=143 provides further information on the election, and how you can be involved by seeking support to stand for election yourself, nominate a fellow UKRC member or cast your vote for candidates you feel will best serve your interests on the UKRC Council Board.

Both the completed Nomination and Declaration of Interest forms must be received by email no later than 26 September 2011 and a hard copy no later than 3 days later.

The UKRC is also seeking a new Chair for the Council Board as Catherine McLoughlin the current Chair is standing down.  Catherine has made an enormous contribution to the development of the organisation but after three years in the role feels it would be good for the organisation to have a new person at the helm.  Information on helping to find a new Chair or put yourself forward for the role is contained in the Notice of Election.
