As you may know NICE gave positive guidance to the technology used by EXOGEN in December 2010, but this new evaluation is looking specifically at EXOGEN.
NICE is currently running a consultation process seeking the views of clinicians and other professionals (as well as patients and carers) who have experience of using or working with patients who have used EXOGEN on long bone fractures. More details can be found at http://guidance.nice.org.uk/MT/154
On behalf of of Smith & Nephew I hope that you might be able to find the time to submit comments to NICE and the first step towards doing this is to register your interest at firstname.lastname@example.org NICE will then contact you to invite your comments. The consultation period opens formally on 15th August and now closes on 12th September.
