CMSUK are proud to launch this year’s CMSUK Case Manager of the Year Award for 2013 and to this end we need your nominations!

Award Criteria:

‘Good outcome from good practice’

Rules & Guidelines:

  • All nominees for this award must be a current CMSUK Case Manager or Associate member of the Case Management Society UK
  • Nominations can come from Solicitors, Insurers, Employers and other Case Managers.
  • You cannot nominate yourself or a member of your family.
  • The Nominee submission must be no more than 500 words but can be supported by testimonials from other parties.
  • Please do not provide any personal details of any individual other than the nominee.
  • The decision of the CMSUK Board is at its absolute discretion and is final.  There is no right of appeal against any decision.
  • In judging, the CMSUK Board will use their skill and judgment, considering information that is put to them in the nomination form and supporting documentation, their knowledge and experience of the Case Management industry and of the wider community relating to CMSUK Standards of Practice.
  • Presentations to the top three will take place at the CMSUK Conference Dinner on Thursday 7th November 2013.
  • The top three finalists will be invited to attend the 2013 CMSUK Annual Conference, AGM and Dinner Dance at the expense of CMSUK.
  • Closing date for nominations is Monday 9th September 2013.
  • All nominees will be notified whether they are through to the final by Friday 27th September 2013.  (Please could all nominators and nominees ensure that the date of the awards is in their diaries.)

How to Nominate:

  • CLICK HERE to download the nomination form.  Alternatively, email and request the documentation is emailed back to you by return.
  • Submit, in no more than 500 words, specific achievements relating to the nominee, paying particular attention to the criteria "Good outcome from good practice".
  • Nominees should stand out from their colleagues as professionals who have made a significant impact in Case Management which can be demonstrated by measurable differences and/or outcomes, as a result of their Case Management practice.
  • Nomination forms should be returned to: Heather Roberts, CMSUK PO Box 293, Sutton, SM1 9BH.
  • Closing date for submissions is Monday 9th September 2013.

  Prize Information:

  • Nominations will be short listed down to three finalists who will be invited to attend the CMSUK two day Annual Conference & AGM 2013 ‘Touching a Nerve’ as guests of CMSUK.  The venue for this showcase event is The Hilton Gatwick Hotel, Gatwick Airport on Thursday 7th & Friday 8th November 2013.  The package the finalists will be offered will include delegate attendance on both days, accommodation at the Hilton Gatwick Hotel on 7th November and attendance at the CMSUK Dinner Dance also on 7th November where the ultimate winner will be presented with the 2013 CMSUK Case Manager of the Year Award.  Please make sure all nominations are aware of these dates please!

The 2012 Case Manager of the Year Award was won by Niccola Irwin from Harrison Associates.


The other finalists were Emma Merriman of Bush and Co, Pauline Viercant of Argent Rehabilitation, and Selina Wong of HCML.
