What is CMSUK?

The Case Management Society UK (CMSUK), is a non-profit association of Case Managers, committed to the delivery of quality case management through standards of best practice while promoting the individual and collective development of case management throughout the United Kingdom.

CMSUK is a charitable company, we became incorporated on 3 July, 2001 and registered as a charity on 6 February, 2006. As a charity our purpose is to protect and promote public well being.

Our Vision Statement is:

To be the professional body for Case Management within the UK and recognised internationally

Our Objectives as a society are :

  1. To build a growing and cohesive community of Case Managers whatever the area of practice
  2. To define and develop a professional framework for Case Managers
  3. To create and develop working relationships with relevant organisations within the UK and internationally

CMSUK Case Manager of the Year Award 2011 

Sian Gouldstone (centre) from Harrison Associates won the award this year for her outstanding work. The other finalists were Emma Baker (right) from Proclaim CARE Ltd, and Claire Morris (left) from Corpore.

 

All three finalists were invited to attend the CMSUK Conference 2011 as guests of CMSUK and the overall Award was presented to Sian Gouldstone at the Dinner Dance held at the end of the first day of Conference on 3rd November at the Gatwick Hilton Hotel.

CMSUK Corporate Members

CMSUK recognise and appreciate that without the ongoing support of our Corporate Members CMSUK would not be going from strength to strength in achieving our aims an objectives as set out above.   To view a list of the current supporters of CMSUK and the associated links to their websites please click here.

 

Corporate Membership is a cost of £2,000 per annum and comes with the following benefits: 

  • Opportunity to influence the development of CMSUK and Case Management in the UK.  Once a year Corporate Members are invited to a meeting (usually in July) with the CMSUK Directors to discuss all aspects of Case Management and the progress of CMSUK.
  • Four free designated membership places for those meeting the criteria for full, associate or supporter members (normal application process applies)
  • 20% discount off the standard membership fees for all members in excess of your four free membership places
  • Two free places at the CMSUK annual conference (this will be held in November 2012 and the dates and venue are still to be confirmed)
  • A reduction (currently £700) for displaying a stand at the conference exhibition
  • Use of the CMSUK logo on company letterheads
  • Inclusion of promotional material in conference packs free of charge
  • Acknowledgement of support on any promotional material that CMSUK produces
  • Identification, logo and link on the CMSUK website.
  • Acknowledgement in regular Newsletter.

Case Management is a collaborative process which: assesses, plans, implements, co-ordinates, monitors and evaluates the options and services required to meet an individuals health, social care, educational and employment needs, using communication and available resources to promote quality cost effective outcomes.
